about me

I am an Associate Professor of Behavioral and Experimental Economics and Finance in the Department of Economics at the University of Innsbruck, where I also received my PhD in June 2018.

Much of my work comes back to a single question: how much of what we think we know about human behavior would still hold if the studies were run again, or if someone else had analyzed the data? The question has come to occupy most of my time, and I pursue it in large collaborations with researchers across economics, finance, and psychology. Alongside this, I study how people deal with risk and uncertainty, in the laboratory and among financial professionals.
